The most horrific passport renewal process I have ever suffered through. It has taken three attempts of trying to have a priority passport processed with them. Long story short, $500 later and a comedy of errors - all mixed in with the rudest old ladies I have ever had to deal with. And there are a lot of rude old ladies.
I don't mind mistakes but getting "set straight" about information from the passport office that they disagree with, and then photos sent back from the APO really sucks. The worst part is having eyes rolled at me when I asked important questions, that turned out being essential, but they ignored, and resulted in my passport being delayed further.
Pretty much if you want to be treated like an inmate asking for a third serving of gruel - go to Manuka Post Office - or punch yourself in the face.
